Hip Replacement

Knee Replacement

Total knee replacement surgery is performed for patients who have severe damage to the joint cartilage, have difficulty in moving up and down stairs and cannot control pain with non-surgical treatments. The life of the prosthesis is usually 15-20 years. However, due to forced movements, increased body mass index or trauma-related reasons, loosening or dislocation of the prosthesis may occur. In this case, prosthesis revision surgery is performed.

After the prosthesis surgery, the pain ceases completely. Pain relief medication is used for post-operative recovery-related pain. After the recovery period, preoperative complaints and pains disappear completely.

The complete healing process after prosthesis surgery with advanced surgical methods is 4 to 6 weeks. You can stand up the day after the surgery, you can walk easily in a few days and you can climb up and down the stairs.
