Hip Replacement

Total hip replacement surgery is a surgical operation performed to replace the hip joint due to advanced calcification, congenital causes or post-traumatic damage. The aim of hip replacement surgery is to prevent serious pain and improve movement functions. After hip replacement surgery, it is aimed to eliminate the deformities, eliminate the pain and improve the mobility.

Knee Replacement

Total knee replacement surgery is performed for patients who have severe damage to the joint cartilage, have difficulty in moving up and down stairs and cannot control pain with non-surgical treatments. Knee replacement surgery is generally performed for patients over 60 years of age. However, in patients with osteonecrosis or rheumatoid arthritis, knee prosthesis surgery can be performed at a younger age to prevent pain and limitation of movement.

After the prosthesis surgery, the pain ceases completely. Pain relief medication is used for post-operative recovery-related pain. After the recovery period, preoperative complaints and pains disappear completely.

The complete healing process after prosthesis surgery with advanced surgical methods is 4 to 6 weeks. You can stand up the day after the surgery, you can walk easily in a few days and you can climb up and down the stairs.

Calcification is a cartilage disease caused by genetic causes, bone structure, nutrition, and lifestyle. After the cartilage begins to soften and crack, bone tissue emerges and pains occur due to bone resorption.
