Bone resorption, also known as osteoporosis, is defined as a characteristic disease that causes an increased risk of fracture as a result of low bone mass and deterioration of bone tissue structure.

Causes of Bone Resorption

  • Aging,
  • Insufficient movement,
  • Reduction of estrogen levels in women,
  • Alcohol and smoking,
  • Long-term use of cortisone,
  • Thyroid disorders

Precautions to Prevent Bone Loss

  • Nutrition rich in vitamin D and calcium,
  • Regular physical activity
  • Avoiding smoking and alcohol,
  • Avoiding sudden weight loss
